About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Fontana, California, at $20.00 per hour. The position provides reliable hours at an assigned logistics and distribution site, with a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the option to vary hours and work up to 40 hours per week.

The listed schedule is Friday, 8:30 PM–5:00 AM. The role involves customer service and security procedures at the site, access control, monitoring and recording entries and exits, managing vehicle and pedestrian access, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
• Commit to the assigned site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records for employees, contractors, drivers, and deliveries.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to support authorized movement throughout the facility, including shipping, receiving, warehouse, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, warehouse, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
