Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Check In
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for a lobby check-in assignment at a logistics and distribution location in Lakeland, Florida. The position provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment. In addition to the fixed shift, employees may claim extra shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The stated schedule is Wednesday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and the pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The officer provides front-desk customer service, monitors facility access, maintains visitor records, handles incoming calls, observes lobby activity, and responds to incidents in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and front-desk protocols.
- Monitor facility access by greeting visitors, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
- Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Observe lobby and reception-area activity, report unusual or unauthorized activity, and help deter unauthorized access.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
