About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned healthcare diagnostic location in Lenexa, Kansas. The role combines front-desk customer service with site-specific security procedures, including monitoring facility access and maintaining visitor records. The position has a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The scheduled shift is Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The employee may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $17.76 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide front-desk customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
Monitor facility access, greet and screen visitors according to established protocols, and maintain accurate visitor records.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Direct patients and visitors, answer general inquiries, and support an orderly reception area.
Observe and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
