About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Guest Check In in Lakeland, Florida. The position provides reliable hours at an assigned site on a designated weekly shift, with a six-month commitment to that fixed-shift assignment. The officer may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed.

The role is based at the front desk of a financial services location and combines customer service with site-specific security procedures. The scheduled shift is Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.75 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Monitor facility access by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry records, and directing guests.
• Receive and route incoming calls, greet and assist visitors, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Observe front-desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or policy violations, and help deter unauthorized access.
