About The Position

As a Security Officer Government Building Access Control in Costa Mesa, California, you will serve and safeguard clients. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. You will respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

This is a full-time position paying $26.00 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule has not yet been assigned; a manager will determine it based on business needs during hiring, onboarding, and training, before the start date.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.
