As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while creating a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to property management and appropriate contacts.
  • Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and communicating professionally with tenants and/or contractors.
