As a Security Officer in Waukesha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this active role, you will support access awareness, deliver strong customer service and communication, and bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or visitor information as directed, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
  • Support daily operations at the manufacturing and industrial location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site personnel, and following post orders and incident reporting procedures.
