About The Position

TRIDENT is bringing on an Afternoon Security Officer to provide dedicated security and safety services at assigned client sites in Cupertino, CA. This afternoon shift is a strong fit for a driven, service-oriented individual who does their best work in high-traffic retail environments during the busiest hours of the day. The right candidate has sharp situational awareness, refined people skills, and a consistently professional manner when engaging with customers and staff alike.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required.
Prior experience in security or retail customer service is preferred.
Must hold or obtain a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
A valid California Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

Team up with fellow Security Specialists to watch over the well-being of customers and employees in retail environments.
Perform foot patrols across assigned areas to keep a visible presence and lower security risks.
Notice, log, and respond to hazardous or suspicious conditions on-site.
Document and look into security events, accidents, and maintenance-related matters.
Address support requests from supervisors and client staff promptly.
Assist employees and customers during emergencies, evacuations, or other critical events.
Work with public safety authorities as needed to reinforce crowd management efforts.
Check credentials for employees entering restricted or controlled zones on client premises.
Enforce parking policies and address vehicle-related matters on site.
Keep interactions with all customers and staff respectful and professional.
Offer First Aid, CPR, or AED care during medical emergencies (if certified).
Walk all exterior access points to confirm doors, gates, and windows are properly secured.
