About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time experienced unarmed patrol officer at a premier hotel and resort location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The officer will safeguard guests, visitors, staff, and property by providing customer service, conducting patrols, responding to security concerns, and documenting observations and incidents. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and pays $27.33 per hour. At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while following security procedures and location-specific policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations, escalating matters according to location procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel grounds, guest areas, parking locations, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Help maintain a welcoming hospitality environment.
Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations according to company and location procedures.
