About The Position

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a dependable, alert, and professional part-time security team member to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for hotel guests and associates. The role protects guests, associates, hotel property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring hotel activity, conducting routine patrols, and responding promptly to incidents and safety concerns. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and a customer-service-oriented approach to security.

Nice To Haves

Previous security, loss prevention, or related experience.
CPR, First Aid, or other relevant safety certifications.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel guests, associates, and visitors.
Conduct routine patrols of hotel public areas, entrances, parking areas, and other designated locations.
Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, and guest concerns.
Enforce hotel policies regarding property access, safety, and security.
Document incidents, unusual activities, and security concerns in detailed written reports.
Assist with emergency response procedures, evacuations, and coordination with emergency services when necessary.
Provide a visible security presence while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Assist hotel management with investigations involving lost property, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
Identify potential safety hazards and promptly report maintenance or security concerns.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Work closely with front desk staff, hotel management, and other departments to support hotel operations.
