Security Officer Part Time

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support a dynamic automotive manufacturing location in Fremont, California. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role is part of a team-focused culture that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. The pay rate is $22.52 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.

CPR certification.
A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking facilities, access points, and the perimeter; deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate security logs and incident documentation.
Communicate clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.
