About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Savannah, Georgia. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, teamwork, and following site procedures. The pay rate is $20.17 per hour. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, including building interiors, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and promptly report observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
