About The Position

Securitas USA is hiring a part-time Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients. The role involves actively monitoring and patrolling client premises, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers also frequently provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit; training is provided. The position requires excellent customer service skills, passing a drug screen and background check, and meeting and continuing to meet applicable state, county, and municipal security licensing requirements. Work is available on second and third shifts. The stated wage is $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; climb stairs; and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
