About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer supporting credential validation at a manufacturing and industrial location in Bay Minette, Alabama, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, and operations. You will manage facility entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and provide customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

The posted schedule includes Monday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Wednesday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Sunday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.76 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities.
• Monitor and control facility access by verifying credentials, registering visitors and contractors, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area access locations, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
