About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance Driver in Baytown, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The role also involves providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a team that acts with integrity.

The position is full-time and pays $16.60 per hour. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries entering or exiting the location, and maintain accurate visitor and access logs.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access-control areas, parking locations, gates, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
