About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Access Systems Driver in Baytown, Texas, to serve and safeguard clients at a utilities location. The officer will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. The role includes customer service, clear communication, and responding to security-related concerns. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.

The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to utility operations areas by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entry, and maintaining required access records.
• Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at assigned entry points, communicate access requirements, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas, access points, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and helping deter unauthorized access.
