About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Orlando, Florida. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned commercial real estate site, with a six-month commitment to that designated site and shift. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to vary their hours and work up to 40 hours per week.

The position pays $20.51 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. The officer provides customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses, conducts armed patrols, monitors access, reports suspicious activity, and completes required documentation.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Pepper spray certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and associates by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious persons, activities, or conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Maintain professional communication with site contacts and public service partners.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
