About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time armed patrol Security Officer in Vineland, New Jersey. The position provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that anchor shift. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, offering the option to vary weekly hours and build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed shift is Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The pay rate is $20.73 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducts regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Graduate from a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
