About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Visitor Badge Patrol in Taunton, Massachusetts. The officer will serve and safeguard clients at a technology-focused location, providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. Duties include conducting unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control and visitor procedures, responding to incidents and alarms, documenting observations, and communicating with appropriate personnel. The schedule is Monday, Thursday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
