About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Construction in Mesa, Arizona, you will safeguard a high-tech data center and support security operations at a critical infrastructure location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors. The role works with a team and requires clear communication and professional documentation in an industrial environment. This is a full-time position paying $25.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency responses.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and restricted areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in an industrial environment.
