About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Credential Validation in Shreveport, Louisiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The position is full-time and pays $15.00 per hour, with weekly pay. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors entering the commercial property.
Maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records; issue and collect credentials, keys, and access cards according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, parking areas, common areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
