About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Validation at a food and beverage production location in Mira Loma, California, you will safeguard the site by managing entry, verifying credentials, monitoring access points, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and help deter incidents while providing customer service. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This is a full-time position paying $19.05 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Screen incoming deliveries and contractor arrivals, coordinate access with authorized site contacts, and help protect restricted production, warehouse, and administrative areas from unauthorized entry.
Respond calmly and professionally to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
