About The Position

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Patrol in Newark, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access-control activities. You will provide customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal’s team culture. This is a full-time position paying $26.85 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report relevant information according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle entrances, parking areas, dock doors, office spaces, and the business perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Observe and report irregular conditions, damaged property, unsecured doors, or suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
