Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization for visitors, vendors, and deliveries, and maintain required logs and reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, spills, or other potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
