About The Position

Canopy by Hilton Baltimore Harbor Point is seeking a dependable, professional, and service-focused Security Officer to help deliver Hilton’s vision: “To fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality.” This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and hotel property.

Requirements

Previous security experience required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Monitor the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property
Conduct routine patrols throughout the hotel and public areas
Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies and guest concerns
Escort guests or team members when necessary
Assist with overnight guest requests, room deliveries, and support calls
Monitor surveillance systems and maintain security equipment per hotel standards
Investigate incidents, accidents, injuries, or disturbances and complete required reports
Identify and address safety hazards or policy violations
Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed
Complete daily shift activity and incident reports accurately
Maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and protocols
Support a positive guest experience while enforcing hotel safety standards
