About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer focused on access systems, you will help safeguard a manufacturing and industrial location in High Point, North Carolina. You will manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees and guests. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and using computer or tablet systems to document access-related activity. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The pay rate is $15.50 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery drivers while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control entry and exit points, verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and recover authorized credentials, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations while following established security-related procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unauthorized activity or facility concerns.
