About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a mobile patrol role in Houston, Texas. The posting describes surveillance-oriented duties, including monitoring security systems, observing for suspicious activity, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, patrolling premises, controlling access, and helping protect people and property. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at a competitive hourly wage of $15.25. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have very strong computer skills, particularly in data entry.
• Demonstrate close attention to detail.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if one is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Perform heavy data entry using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Office.
