About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for surveillance and mobile patrol duties in Sioux City, Iowa. The officer will monitor security systems and premises to identify suspicious activity and potential threats, document incidents, respond to situations, conduct patrols, control access, and help protect people and property. The role is full-time on a Wednesday-through-Saturday third-shift schedule, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and requires holiday availability. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. GardaWorld will help the employee obtain and pay for an Iowa security license. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be available to work holidays.
• Be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa security license; GardaWorld will help obtain and pay for the license.

Responsibilities
