About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer at a commercial real estate location in Bristow, Virginia. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control. The role also involves assisting visitors and tenants with customer service and clear communication. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.73 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs accurately.
