About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to serve as a welcoming, professional front desk presence at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The officer will help safeguard visitors and employees by managing access, communicating clearly, monitoring the lobby, and addressing security-related concerns while providing customer service. The role pays $16.50 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors at the front desk.
Verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to site-specific procedures.
Answer incoming calls, manage inquiries, and communicate security-related concerns or service requests to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
Monitor front desk activity and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts.
