About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security Specialist in a healthcare location in Hainesport, New Jersey, you will provide a welcoming, visible presence for patients, visitors, and staff. You will manage facility access, observe activity, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. The role is with Allied Universal, whose team emphasizes putting people first, working together, and acting with integrity. This is a full-time position with a weekday daytime schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The pay rate is $19.66 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, patients, staff, and vendors professionally and provide exceptional customer service at the healthcare facility front desk.
Monitor facility access, verify visitor credentials according to site-specific procedures, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
Direct guests to appropriate departments while supporting established security-related policies and procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Remain aware of front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and security-related incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
