About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for reception services at a logistics and distribution location in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. The officer will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and communication of site procedures. The role helps maintain an orderly environment, responds to security-related concerns, and provides customer service. The listed pay rate is $18.03 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and vendors at the front desk, following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Monitor facility access by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes as directed, maintaining entry records, and notifying appropriate personnel of arrivals.
Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and provide clear directions while maintaining a professional, courteous presence.
Observe activity at assigned entry points and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal supervision.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established emergency response procedures, and escalate concerns as needed.
