About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Services in Saint Louis, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including financial institutions. At a financial institution, you will provide a welcoming, visible presence while supporting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will manage access, greet and assist guests, monitor security-related activity, respond to inquiries, and report concerns. The role is full-time and pays $19.32 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment details, manage visitor access records, and direct guests to appropriate locations in accordance with site requirements.
Monitor entry activity, access control systems, and front desk communications; report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate logs, incident documentation, and visitor records while communicating professionally with client representatives, employees, and the public.
