About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Front Desk Security Officer for a retail location in Greensboro, North Carolina. The officer will serve as a welcoming, visible presence and support security-related operations by greeting visitors, monitoring access, communicating professionally, and addressing concerns with integrity and care. The role includes scheduled shifts Wednesday and Thursday from 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.45 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail location personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, manage visitor access records, and communicate entry procedures professionally.
Monitor access points and observe lobby and entrance activity; report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and support communication between visitors, retail personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.
