Security Officer Part Time Front Desk
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a front desk role at a hotel and resort location in Savannah, Georgia. The officer will welcome guests, manage access control, monitor activity, and provide customer service and clear communication. A visible, professional presence helps deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. The position pays $16.44 per hour and is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves following site-specific policies and security procedures, responding to emergencies and guest concerns, keeping accurate records, and sharing relevant information with hotel or resort management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Greet visitors, verify access, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to appropriate areas.
- Monitor lobby activity, access points, and available systems to identify and report unusual activity, policy concerns, or unauthorized access.
- Respond calmly and courteously to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation.
- Communicate relevant information to hotel or resort management and Allied Universal leadership.
