About The Position

ProMedica Security Officers help ensure the overall safety of patients, visitors, and employees. They monitor facilities and assist people with questions about where to go. The role also involves regulating and controlling traffic, enforcing parking rules, and providing traffic control when needed; investigating and reporting accidents, hazards, and incidents; and restraining combative patients as needed. Officers must successfully complete required training and keep certifications current. The job summary describes the general nature and level of work and is not exhaustive.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR, to qualify for coverage under the Company's insurance policy.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in security or a related field.
• Prior security experience.
