About The Position

As a Security Officer in Freeport, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, manage access information, and support timely responses to incidents. You will use technology to maintain accurate records, provide outstanding customer service, and help create a professional environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor alarm systems, cameras, radios, and communications equipment; receive and document calls, dispatch personnel, and relay information to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or vehicle information, and other required records in accordance with site procedures.
Support regular and random patrol coordination around the facility and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues.
