About The Position

As a Security Officer in Freeport, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, manage access information, and support timely responses to incidents. You will use technology to maintain accurate records, provide outstanding customer service, and help create a professional environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor alarm systems, cameras, radios, and communications equipment; receive and document calls, dispatch personnel, and relay information to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or vehicle information, and other required records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support regular and random patrol coordination around the facility and perimeter, helping to identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues.
