Security Officer Part Time Driver

About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer and driver in Gluckstadt, Mississippi, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring access points, screening individuals and/or items, and reporting unusual activity. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support security procedures with integrity. This driving position is part of a team that values agility, innovation, and teamwork. The position pays $16.00 per hour. Scheduled shifts are Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
Alarm panel experience.
Loss prevention experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor access points, screen individuals and/or items, and report unusual activity.
