About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Keasbey, New Jersey, at $19.05 per hour. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor-shift schedule requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week and scale back when needed.

The position provides security and customer service at a logistics and distribution location. The officer manages access, monitors traffic, conducts patrols, and responds to incidents according to site procedures. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at entry and exit points; verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Observe vehicle, pedestrian, and trailer traffic entering and leaving the facility, and report irregularities, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
