Security Officer Part Time Driver

About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Driver in Salinas, California, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The scheduled hours are Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as conditions of employment, as permitted by applicable law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may need to be met before employment.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants must be subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants must be subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when handling incidents and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
