About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer Driver in Bordentown, New Jersey, to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting routine patrols, helping deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, document relevant observations, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accordance with company and site requirements.
