About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Site Coverage in Lawrence Township, New Jersey. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift is a fixed “anchor shift” that requires a six-month commitment. Employees may work part-time or pick up shifts to build toward as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $17.73 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

The position involves providing customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and pass applicable background and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must be valid in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• The assigned anchor shift requires a six-month commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
