About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Unarmed Driver Patrol in Irving, Texas. The position provides a consistent assigned-site shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may pick up shifts to increase their hours, with the opportunity to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. Pay is $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

The officer will provide security and customer service at a financial institution, conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document relevant activity. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening requirements. Licensing may be required under state or local law.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, as required by Allied Universal driver policy and for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
