About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a financial institution location. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role follows site-specific policies and procedures and emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM to 7:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.08 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
