About The Position

As a Security Officer - Data Center Protection in Goodyear, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients in a technology-focused location. In this unarmed security role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems as needed, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and contribute to a reliable workplace through teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

The position is full-time and pays $23.00 per hour. The listed schedule is 2:00 PM–10:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a data center environment.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery activity records according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and shift activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
