About The Position

The Data Center Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites relating to personnel, visitors, and the area. The role includes frequent interaction with client employees and guests, use of technology devices during shifts, and responding appropriately to safety concerns and emergencies.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and a background investigation.

Security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises and control access.
Patrol assigned locations and conduct property tours.
Enforce site regulations and directives relating to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
