Data Center Security Officer
About The Position
The Data Center Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The position involves frequent interactions with client employees and guests, providing customer service and information, using technology devices throughout the shift, and conducting property tours. Officers identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity; follow post orders; and complete assigned rounds. They may also perform other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required by the assigned site. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Above-average computer and technology skills.
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
- Professional demeanor.
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

- Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
