About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer for a mega data center in Hubbard, Texas. The role serves and safeguards clients and may involve assignments across various industries. Officers use a shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on availability, and may be called to work irregular shifts with little or no advance notice. The position pays $23.00 per hour, with weekly pay. A hiring event is scheduled for October 22, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hampton by Hilton in Corsicana, Texas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• No prior experience required.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Be at least 18 years old, or older if required by the state; 21 years old if armed.
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly, accurately, and informatively.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations and identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Ability to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Arabic.
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire departments in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn people of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized property removal complies with client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary in accordance with site Post Orders.
