About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in Burlingame, California. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols across assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position pays $23.00 per hour. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and respond professionally to security-related concerns.
