About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for access administration at a financial institution in Lewisville, Texas. The officer helps maintain a secure, professional environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring entry activity, and providing customer service to employees and visitors. The role also involves a visible security presence to help deter incidents and responding to access-related events in accordance with site procedures. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The stated pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Document incidents, access-control activities, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly according to site requirements.
